Christmas Parade

Come join us for our Longwood Citizens on Patrol Christmas Parade being held annually on the 1st Saturday in December. Spend a wonderful day in Longwood with your family and friends. Mark your calendar. You will not want to miss this parade. Previous parades have featured over 100 entries in the community parade organized by the Longwood Citizens on Patrol with the assistance of the Longwood Police Department, the City of Longwood, the Longwood Fire Department and many volunteers.

The parade has featured the:

  • Longwood Fire Department
  • Longwood Police Youth Explorers
  • Lyman High School Marching Band
  • Lyman Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Flag Carriers
  • Police Departments from Longwood, Winter Springs, and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office
  • Several dignitaries

There were floats, antique vehicles, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, cyclists, clowns, animal performances, churches, banks, many businesses, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), military vehicles, motorcycles, monster trucks, Knights of Columbus, 4-H Clubs, Cartoon Characters, several dance troupes, Central Florida Spokes Women’s Club, Shriners, Santa Claus, and many more. Have a picnic by bringing a chair, blanket and cooler or enjoy the great food from the Citizens on Patrol Concession Food Trailer!

There is no charge to be in the parade. The registration can be mailed to the Longwood Christmas Parade Manager at 410 North Wayman Street, Suite 1012, Longwood, Florida 32750, or sent electronically via email.  Or you can now fill out the form online by clicking here.
