We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of our Yard of the Month program, which recognizes homeowners in our community who have gone above and beyond to maintain their yards and keep them looking beautiful. We have made some added improvements to the program to make it even more exciting and rewarding.
- The Board of Directors selects a winner every other month.
- The winner earns the honor of displaying the Yard of the Month sign in their yard for one month starting on 1st to the last day of the month. An announcement will be made at the next Regular Homeowners’ Meeting and a photo of the home will be posted on the website.
- Each winner will receive a $50 gift card from the Hidden Oak Estates Homeowners’ Association.
- The same yard cannot be selected more than once in the same rolling 24-month calendar period. At least 24 months must elapse between awards for the same yard. This promotes the rotation of the selection throughout the neighborhood.
- Homeowner must be current on their Association dues AND in compliance with all HOA covenants and City regulations to be eligible.
- The Board will reassess the Yard of the Month program in one year to evaluate its impact and effectiveness.

Nominations
We encourage homeowners to nominate themselves or their neighbors who have gone above and beyond in maintaining their yard. To ensure fairness and consistency in the selection process, we have established some guidelines for submitting nominations:
- Nominations can be submitted via email to the Homeowners Association at board@hiddenoakestates.com with the subject line “Yard of the Month Nomination.” Nominations may also be given directly to a Board member.
- Each nomination must include the nominee’s name, address, front yard photo and a brief description of why the yard deserves to be recognition.
- Nominations must be received by the 30th of the month to be considered for the next award period. The Secretary will compile nominations and include them in the agenda for Board review at the next Regular Homeowner’s Meeting.
We encourage all homeowners to take pride in their yards and maintain them to the best of their abilities. By doing so, we can work together to make our community a beautiful place to live.
